Mombasa/East coast

The rainy season is between end of April and June. Some rain can be expected between end of October and beginning December.

However, even during these times the sun will shine. Showers can be sudden and short. It is unusual to have rain all day. Warm weather lasts throughout the year and consequently the water temperature is always warm. There is a light breeze from the sea which you will enjoy.

 Nairobi

On higher regions including Lake Victoria, Tsavo, Amboselli and Nairobi between 1200 and 1600 metres (Mount Kenya is 2200 metres) temperatures are cooler especially in the evening.

Your passport should have a 6 month duration minimum. A visa is required for Swiss nationals. Other nationalities should check.
